Background:

Aashu is from Kathmandu, Nepal and graduated from Bates College, a small liberal arts college in Maine, with majors in Physics and Mathematics. She is currently a second year in the Lightwave lab. 

Research Interests:

•  nonlinear optical signal processing
• integrated photonics.

Outside research, she enjoys travelling, sketching, painting, running, cooking and coffee.
