Background:

Weipeng Zhang graduated from Beihang University with a B.S. in Physics and from Tsinghua University with an M.S. in Optical Engineering. He has years of research experience in precision measurement utilizing the optical frequency comb, including ranging, surface metrology, and spectroscopy. He now pivots himself towards a more exciting and promising field, the silicon photonics. In Prof. Prucnal's lab, he is currently researching in Blind Source Separation using the photonic integrated chip.
